Fitness Friday - Week 7 - My new body

What do you think of the new me? After just a month of Fitness Fridays?


That's not me. 

That's my head badly stuck onto Jennifer Aniston's body, but a girl can dream. No?

But it could be us, couldn't it. *Dreams*.

I've spent a long weekend in Cornwall this week and we got a lot of fresh air walking up and down hills and along the coast. It was really refreshing to get out of the house and spend some time as a family. What wasn't so healthy though was the cocktails (I just can't resist a Kir Royale or a Bellini, I just can't) and the fact that we were eating three big meals a day, topped up with a bucket load of clotted cream. 

But we were on holiday. Right?

I'm so bad. I know this. Today I am starting the MuTu System which will encourage a change in my eating habits and my attitudes towards fitness and exercise. The programme is designed especially for women who have had children, no matter how long ago and is tailored to suit this length of time. Also, I have a fabulous personal cyber-trainer that comes with the package. Wendy Powell (@nomorexcuses) has kicked me up the bum on a number of occasions to get me going with MuTu, as I often let working and childcare get in the way of my fitness.

From reading the MuTu literature (I read through about half of it last night) I have learnt that you can improve your body, taking up very little time. Even just 10 minutes a day and a good fridge can help you on your way. Because it's designed for mums, by a mum, it's clear that thought has been put into the amount of available time us lot get. 

It's funky and contemporary too - the design is eye-catching and urges you to get going and I simply can't wait. I'm finishing off the booklet today and then I'm on my way. And if I stick to it? I can loose up to 2 stone during the 12 week programme and learn to enjoy fitness whilst obtaining a flatter mummy tummy.
