Cars 2 Mania!

I don't know about you but the BECKICKLESIE clan are already getting excited about the launch of Disney Pixar's Cars 2, due for release in the UK on 22nd July. Kidder is a mahoosive fan of the original cars; I've single handedly sourced die cast treasures from around the globe. I ordered Chic Mia & Tia's from America, as well as a diecast Red Fire Engine. It's a bit of a collection he's got going on. You might remember way back when Kidder's room was revamped we opted for a Mack flatscreen too. The boy just loves it!

I've saw the trailer for the new film on the Toy Story 3 DVD and it looks like it's set to be the biggest hit of the summer, with favourites such as McQueen and Mater jetting off across the pond for a Grand Prix to determine the World's fastest car. Edge of the seat stuff folks. This is, of course, coming form someone who got far too involved with the plot of Tangled and shed a tiny tear when the Rapunzel found her parents. Well, check it out, anyway...

I do, of course, prefer treats that don't have to be sourced from far away lands and Cars RaceORama Mega Memo 4-in-1 can be found in most good toy stores and also at www.cartamundi.co.uk.

A little box of treasures the answer to every parents dreams - combining games which stimulate your children's noggins, through learning to memorise and recognise pictures, with your toddler's favourite Disney hit. This compact box of card games is suitable for children aged 3-8, although Kidder is just short of 3 and it suited him to the ground, and has games to suit 1-4 players. Kidder and I had fun matching the pairs, making a huge cars picture, playing Mega Memo. For the older children there's a game named 'Donkey' which has much more of a 'playing cards' vibe to it and requires thought processes and concentration that my two-year-old isn't quite old enough to grasp.

With that in mind, it would be true to say that it will grow with your child and they'll be pulling this one down from the shelf for years to come. Just like Disney classics are never dated, these card games will last the tests of time and is fantastic for family fun.

It really was a pleasure to receive and review.
